President
With over 32 years in the aviation industry, Chris brings extensive worldwide experience with a variety of aircrafts as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.

Chris brings expertise in designing, fabricating and testing modifications to aircrafts - including working with sheet metal, wood, steel tube and composite construction - heavy overhauls of aircrafts and designing modifications for Formula One racing aircrafts.
Nathan Armstrong
Secretary/Treasurer
As the President & Founder of Armstrong Custom Fabrication Inc. and CTO of Aptera Motors, Nathan brings extensive knowledge and expertise to the team.

Nathan is a CAD Engineer and was previously VP Engineering at Metalcrafters, ARIA Group, Draganfly and Havelaar Canada. He also worked at Boeing as a Design Engineer on the International Space Station and has worked with companies such as Scaled Composites on numerous aircraft programs. Nathan is a proud holder of multiple patents and inventor of Freespace 3D Composite Printing.
Our Story
With a combined interest in aerospace and more than 60 years of expertise, Chris and Nathan saw a gap in the market for Twin Otter replacement parts and support to keep
this legacy fleet in flight.
With the skills, resources and facilities to support production, Gibraltar Mountain Aerospace have designed and produced a cost-effective, high-quality, and lightweight cockpit door specifically for the Twin Otter series right here in Rocky View County.
Gibraltar Mountain Aerospace continues to expand their product offering while focusing on bringing innovative technologies to a variety of aircrafts.
